Free Termite Inspection
For home or business owners, the task of checking your property for termites can be daunting. Where should you look? How often should you check? Rather than risking overlooking a termite problem, you can contact our pest control specialists to take a look for you. Our specialists are knowledgeable and experienced in all things termites, and they will know exactly where to look for them in ANY building. We will inspect your property for free; we won’t charge you, our customer, for our professional advice. That’s just how we do business.
Understanding Your Home is How We Solve and Prevent Termite Issues
Every building or home is unique, so we complete a detailed inspection of every property, inside and out. This inspection lets us determine whether or not termites are already present in the building as well as the best termite treatment to use. For example, when a home has mostly pavement surrounding it, we recommend a Termidor termite treatment; if a home is mostly surrounded by soil, a Sentricon treatment is more advisable.
During this inspection, our specialists identify all of the environmental conditions and sources that attract or support termite activity in your home, such as:
- a pipe leak
- wood or cellulose debris in the crawlspace or near the home
- clogged gutters or gutters with tiny trees growing in them
Once we find the source of the termites and analyze the extent of their damage to your building, we can determine the most appropriate course of action for your unique infestation circumstances. We will provide you with all the different options available, and help you decide on the best one. Nobody’s life should be interrupted by these bothersome and dangerous pests, and we intend to get you on the road to being “termite free” as soon as possible. Getting your busy, happy life back to normal is our pleasure and our priority.
Customized Service Begins with Understanding the Problem or Potential Problems
We prefer our Termite Treatments to be preventative. According to Purdue University and University of Florida, four termite colonies live within foraging distance of every home. The question is not IF you will get termites, but WHEN.
Beaufort County is also home to the subterranean Formosan Termite, an invasive species that is known for their aerial infestations (if you have a water leak or a clogged gutter they will use it as their moisture source and do not need to go to the ground, their nest will stay above ground and they can eat a home in a matter of months.)
Formosan Termites cause more damage than native subterranean termites because of their colony size. In a mature native termite colony there may be several hundred thousand workers. A mature Formosan subterranean termite colony has millions of workers. The sheer numbers of Formosan subterranean termites usually make this type the most destructive. Formosan subterranean termites are also the most likely subterranean termites to establish above-ground infestations. Because much of the termite’s food source is removed during clearing of a site for construction, as well as the common occurrence of termites in South Carolina, it is easy to see why homes are often attacked.
We are the only company who includes Formosan coverage in our bonds/warranties. You should never have to pay extra for coverage on the one termite you should be most concerned about!
Our Free Termite Inspection is the First Step to Ensuring Your Building is Safe from Pests
After the free termite inspection is completed, we use our findings to recommend a customized termite control program for your home. If there were no termites present, we can offer a preventative treatment to keep them from ever showing up. If they were already in your home, we can get them out. We won’t stop until your termites are completely eliminated, and precautionary measures are taken to prevent them from coming back. We will seal entry points and inform you about any damage repairs that may be needed. You and others in your home and business will have the peace of mind that comes with knowing your building is safe from termites for years and years to come.
